I’m thrilled to announce I have signed a contract with Anaiah Press for my first contemporary Christian romance, called Second Chances.

This has been a dream 3.5 years in the making. Technically speaking, it’s been a dream of mine to actually publish a book since before I was in junior high. However, I’m going off the amount of time it took me to write, edit, rewrite, and submit my first book to publishers 🙂
To all of you who are striving toward the same goal, keep going! If I can do it, after 4 rejections and a handful of other no-responses, (which are basically silent rejections) Then you, my writing friends, can do it too! There are multiple avenues you can take. I encourage you to research traditional and self-publishing options, to research carefully what kind of company is right for you, whether you want an agent or not, and so on. Like any kind of vehicle, you cannot progress forward unless you press the gas and keep on moving.
I’ve certainly had my fair share of doubts this past year, With signing a contract comes a huge host of responsibilities; new doubts will ultimately crop up, I’m sure. But for now, I’m stoked so it’s time to celebrate! Tomorrow, hopefully, pizza with the fam after work! (I still have to work a day job LOL)
It’s all super new and just finalized. So I’ll have more updates to come! If you’d like to find out when my debut novel will release, and receive other updates, sneak peaks, and access giveaways, please sign up for my newsletter below, if you haven’t already.
